2nd Year is OFFICIALLY OVER ![]() Hip hip hooray! =X I didn't believe my eyes wben I saw my results and actually went back the next day to re-check. (: I'm so happy that physiotherapy is working out for me so far. (I can do all things with God's strength!) I haven't been blogging much because last week I went to KKMC's Youth Camp from Wed to Sun. (The camp was next to a forest and I came back with 13 mosquito bites!) After the camp, I went to Grace's place to make chocolate. (More on that on the next blog post!) Yesterday, I was out for the whole day. For the rest of the week, I will be in Malacca for the International OCF Convention. =X Busy busy! Bam-Bam is doing well so far, besides a slight problem with the battery and some keyboard problem but there are fixed! (: I love my new laptop. Haha. Tuesday, December 01, 2009 @ 11:34 PM
Yahoo YAY! I just got my new laptop -- BAM BAM! Friday, November 27, 2009 @ 10:06 PM
To Do Wow. It has been a week already. So fast! (: I realised that I haven't been taking care of myself for the past few months. Besides losing unnecessary weight, my eye bags and dark circles are really prominent. Gross. Besides catching up on my sleep and nutrition, I intend to do a few things during my summer break: #1. Take my driving test. (and pass it, of course) #2. Learn some basic guitar chords. #3. Learn some new piano songs. #4. Learn to swim. #5. Rollerblade faster than a walking person. So far, I only started playing the piano again for this week. Somehow I didn't feel like doing anything ever since my exams... =P I went to the IT fair with Mum, Dad, Weikang and Oon Yong yesterday. Even though it was a Thursday, the whole place was packed! It would certainly be very dreadful during the weekend. I decided to get a new laptop because this current one was getting a bit cranky. Unfortunately, they were out of stock (DOH) and had to collect it at Funan on Tuesday. Oh well. Thankfully I brought Weikang and Dad along because they haggled for more free stuff. Hehe. For a reality check, exam results are out next Tuesday! I'm so nervous. I feel like I didn't give my best for my papers. But I know that God will be there for me no matter what happens. Weight I'm missing all my friends in Australia already! Haha. Some of the non-Singaporeans are coming to visit in February though, and I can't wait to entertain them! (: Saturday, November 21, 2009 @ 6:41 AM
four days WHEEE! After one intense semester, I am finally heading back to Singapore. I will definitely miss all my Aussie friends while back at home though. This morning, I woke up feeling a little bit sad because it will be about 3 months before I see them again. Oh well, thank goodness there is facebook. (: Even though there wasn't anything to study for once my exams ended on Tuesday, I still haven't been sleeping well. That's because I have either been packing up my room or playing! On Wednesday, I went over to Chris' (Huang) place to look at King's College before he moves out. It isn't fantastic on the inside, even though it looked quite grand on the outside. Haha. But it felt kind of weird walking down the corridor (which was dim and narrow) because the entire place was filled with boys and they do stare sometimes. =X After that, we had Korean lunch with Tanvi, Mai and Pearlyn! Haha. It was yummmmy. (: That night, I stayed over at Mai's place where I ended up cleaning the place for them because it got really dirty over the exam period. HAHAHA. On Thursday, I met up with my OCF friends for dim sum lunch. Our Chinese was a bit "off" when we ordered because the waiters and waitresses got really confused and when they asked if we wanted something, we gave them blank looks. =P I need to brush up on my Chinese! Al and I went to Indro after lunch to shop around and watch "Time Traveler's Wife". We both loved that show, though the development can be a bit slow. I did feel that the ability to time travel seems like a burden to the guy and even more of a burden to his wife. It's a really sad show, but the storyline was good! That night, I packed up my entire room and didn't sleep until at about 3am! Yesterday, I met up with Chris (Ooi) for brunch. He had to rush off for work though, so I ended up doing some errands at Toowong. Since I was near Al's place, I decided to drop by, nearly passing out in his room due to the lack of sleep. (Plus the weather was really hot which made the whole place really stuffy!) We headed to Koorong (at Woollongaba) to buy some Christian books and walked around in the city to buy some last minute gifts! At that time, I really needed to clear my room, so I went back to Grace College. Thank goodness Simon and Pearlyn were there when I returned, because they helped me to put the less important stuff in the basement and drove me to Mai's place where I placed the other stuff (which was more important). That night, I had to rush back to Al's place for an OCF comm meeting. We ended up discussing how we can make OCF sessions more efficient and how to get more people to join us. Haha. I really hope next year will be a good one. (: So that was how I spent my 21st birthday (over 4 days) with my group of friends. Haha. It was a quiet celebration, but I loved every single minute of it. For now, I will just enjoy every second I have left in Brisbane. And get excited to return back to Singapore! |
